Basketball club Partizan targeted the playmaker from Israel, Sportal learns.
The black and whites don’t really have a real game organizer, so they are interested in a playmaker from Israel. More precisely, they are in negotiations with the player and his club.
It is 31-year-old American DJ Cooper, who currently performs for Irony Ness Zion from Israel.
The former Ohio State University student is playing fantastically in Israel.
He records as many as 17 assists on average in the domestic championship!
He also recorded 9.8 points, six rebounds and 3.3 steals per match, in the jersey of the Israeli team.
Cooper is exactly what Partizan needs, given that they don’t have a real game organizer in the “ace” position.
In his career, the American played for PAOK, Enisei, Panathinaikos, Krasni Oktyabr, AEK, Monaco, Pau Ortez, Gravelin, Chalon, Dorados and Dnipro.
He was MVP of the French league in 2017, and he was the best assistant in almost every championship in which he played.
Currently, negotiations are ongoing, according to Sportal.
