FIFA PUNISHES SERBIA?! Drama at the World Cup: An investigation has been launched due to the disputed flag in the dressing room

FIFA launched an investigation into the flag that was found in the dressing room of the Serbian national team before the start of the match with Brazil.

On Thursday, the Eagles played their first match at the World Cup in Qatar. At the start of the competition in Group G, they lost to Brazil 2:0.

After the game, a photo from Serbia’s locker room appeared on social media, showing a hanging flag with a picture of Kosovo and the inscription:

“There’s no giving up”.

A photo appeared on social networks showing Kosovo and Metohija with the flag of Serbia with the message “No surrender”.

FIFA was asked to react because of this flag, and that’s exactly what happened.

During the day on Saturday, foreign media reported that FIFA has launched an investigation against Serbia, and that our team is awaiting punishment. It is not known how we would be punished, so we can only wait and see how the situation will develop further.

They immediately demanded punishment

The picture caused dissatisfaction and anger among, above all, members of the Albanian community.

– The national team of Serbia is practically calling for genocide in Kosovo during the World Cup. Disgusting – was one of the comments.

– Kosovo is a full member of FIFA, now we need to push for justice to the end and seek to punish Serbia – it was written in another publication.

– FIFA should ban Serbian chauvinist messages or slogans that represent a direct attack on Kosovo, a full and equal member of FIFA. The World Cup should not turn into a celebration of genocide. Officials should take care of these and similar pictures – said the third.
