Canadian national team member Milan Borjan opened up in a conversation with Serbian journalists after insults during the match against Croatia.

The goalkeeper of Crvena zvezda was attacked by Croatian fans for a good part of the match, shouts of “Borjana, Ustaša” were heard, they also insulted his family, and there were also banners with a picture of a tractor and the inscription Knin, where he was born.

He came out in front of our journalists and opened up so much that he took out his phone and showed that he had over 2,000 insulting messages from Croatian fans on “Whats up”, since the Croats shared his number.

– That shows what kind of people they are, primitives. I heard that they insulted, shouted, they need to work on themselves and be with their families. Obviously, there are those who are frustrated – Borjan began.

Borjan mentioned that he was insulted by children who did not know what happened in the 90s in the former Yugoslavia.

– I received messages of support from Serbia, a million of them. These are children who don’t know what it was like. I look at my yard, my family.

In an emotional presentation, he took the phone and started showing all the messages…

– You see, there are 2,056 of them unopened. That speaks only about them – said Borjan.
