Ana Walsh (39), a Belgrade woman, who mysteriously disappeared on January 1 in Cohasset, Massachusetts, was most likely killed by a maniac, claims her friend from Belgrade, who was in contact with her very often.

He is convinced that Anna did not commit suicide, and that her husband Brian Walsh (46) was not involved in her disappearance.

– She had no problems, neither material nor psychological. She lived a normal life in a normal family and had no family problems. I am convinced that he was picked up by some maniac, who came instead of the ordered taxi and took her to who knows where. In my opinion, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Some madman ran in – says Ana’s friend who met her in December when she was coming to her native Belgrade.

He emphasizes that Ana certainly did not raise her hand on herself.

– She had no reason for it. She got along well with her husband. They have three small children, the youngest is only two years old. When she was in Belgrade in December, we met for coffee. She told me that she was super happy and satisfied, that she finally had a good job and that they had stabilized financially. She lived there normally. This can happen to anyone – says the friend of the missing Belgrade woman.

LIVED 300 PER HOUR

Ana went to America in 2015, where she worked in various jobs for years.

– Over time, she came to stay with her mother and relatives in Belgrade. She lived 300 per hour. When she came here in December for three or four days, she completed 300 jobs. We only saw each other for half an hour. She wanted to go to America since she was little. When we were in the fifth grade of elementary school, she talked about going to America. Her sister has lived there for years. The sister went to Canada first. She wanted to have a nice life there – reveals Anna Walsh’s friend.

Anne’s friend does not believe that her husband Brian, who was arrested for obstructing the investigation, was involved in the disappearance.

– They don’t have any other evidence, so they got hold of him – this resident of Belgrade, who has known Ana since childhood, is convinced.

THE MOTHER CALLED TO SEEK HER CHILDREN

He says that he heard Ana’s mother, Milanka Ljubičić, to whom she came on December 27 and stayed for 10 days.

– I heard my mother immediately when I found out about Ana’s disappearance. What should he tell me? She is also in shock – he adds.

When asked why she called her mother on December 30, insisting that she come immediately on December 31, Ana’s friend reveals why.

– She called to babysit her children, but she couldn’t because she was sick – says Ana’s friend.

Brian Walsh, Anna’s husband, was arrested on suspicion of obstructing the investigation. He reported the disappearance of his wife only after three days, although she had not contacted him since January 1, when she left for a flight to Washington, where she was working. He pleaded not guilty in court.
