Zaluzhny is lying in a clinic in Kyiv and is in a critical condition, Yevgeny Prigozhin announced citing a reliable source.
He says that doctors cannot confirm whether he will survive because his condition is uncertain.
Prigozhin claims that the regime in Kiev is afraid to announce what happened to Zaluzhny so as not to further damage the morale of Ukrainians.
The Wagner founder said that while Ukrainians target civilians, journalists, writers and administrative workers, the Russians target Ukraine’s military leadership.
Russian media previously wrote that Zalozni was killed in a Russian rocket attack, along with several high-ranking officers. He did not appear in public for days, which further raised doubts that the Russian claims were true.
