As Teletrader reminds, Thailand decided to replace its outdated fleet of American F-15 and F-16 fighters last year, and set aside about 400 million dollars for F-35A aircraft, which for now only the closest US allies have. However, RTAF spokesman Air Marshal Prapas Sornchaide stressed that official Washington has nevertheless agreed to provide Thailand with upgraded F-15 and F-16 aircraft.
