Two Russian “Sukhoi” escorted American bombers over the Baltic Sea

Russian fighter jets “Su-35” and “Su-27” escorted two strategic bombers “B-1B” of the American Air Force over the Baltic Sea today because they were flying towards Russian airspace, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced.

The announcement states that the planes were raised in order not to allow violation of the border.

“The crew of the Russian fighters identified the air targets as two strategic bombers “B-1B” of the US Air Force. The Russian planes returned to their base airport after the foreign military planes moved away from the Russian state border,” the statement said.
The Ministry points out that the violation of the state border of the Russian Federation has been prevented.
