The Japanese Kim Ung-Jong received his doctorate at the age of 15, and the German Karl Witt at the age of 13

The first child genius Carl Witt became a doctor of science at the age of 13, and is the first in the Guinness World Records for the youngest person to receive this degree.

He was born in 1800 as the son of a pastor who raised him in a religious environment. The father insisted on the importance of learning while his son was growing up. When Witt was nine years old, he spoke German, French, Italian, Latin and Greek.
