Danas interlocutors on the participation of the former head of the BIA at the security meeting in Russia

Although it doesn’t have any official one function in Serbia.

Sonja Biserko, president of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, tells Danas that given that the geopolitical situation in terms of security is changing dramatically, the Security Forum in Saint Petersburg, judging by the agenda, will address the problems Russia is facing, especially in relation to its aggression to Ukraine.

– The announced presence of Dodik and Vulin, who are known as Russian exponents in the region, is not surprising. The main motivation is certainly the Resolution on Srebrenica, which Serbian leaders see as a potential for instability in the region. The delegation of Serbia in the Security Council experienced a fiasco and, one might say, a slap in the face, so the leaders of Russian interest in the region are counting on its active engagement to prevent that resolution. Instead of distancing themselves from Milosevic’s policy and the crimes committed in the name of that policy, the current government, the SPC and the academic community, with their behavior and persistent denial of the genocide in Srebrenica, are provoking the whole world, which inevitably leads to the isolation of Serbia, which is unable to show even a minimum of moral dignity in in relation to that part of her shameful history – she concludes.

Miloš Parandilović, MP and leader of the New Face of Serbia party, points out for Danas that the genesis of the disintegration of Serbia has been going on for a very long time.

– Just look at who dealt with the security of Serbia in the Great War and who today, and everything will be clear. Once Stepa, Mišić, and today Brnabić and Vulin. Vučić assembled a government and a parliament from subjects and ignoramuses. Vulin is a security threat to this country and as such should be removed from all events where security is discussed. Vulin is a grossly compromised, blackmailed, corrupt and vicious person and it is a tragedy that he represents this country anywhere. But since Serbia has sunk deeply spiritually under the progressive government, there are no more criteria. The more ignorant you are, the more you wonder. It is only important to serve the leader. When we keep all this in mind, Vulin fits perfectly into the system of mediocrity, but that brings Serbia to the world. Simply put, no one takes him seriously – notes the interviewee of Danas.

According to Miodrag Preković, head of the information service of the Serbian Movement Dveri, Aleksandar Vulin does not hold any official, state function in the Republic of Serbia, “so I don’t see in what capacity he is attending the 12th International Meeting of High Officials Responsible for Security Issues”.

– The second, much more important fact is that Vulin is not worthy of representing Serbia either in the domestic or international frameworks, bearing in mind his work in public functions in the past. This especially applies to meetings and gatherings held in the Russian Federation, as one of the most powerful countries in the world, and to someone who defends the interests of Serbia in the international framework, and above all, it refers to the status of Kosovo and Metohija in the UN – concluded Preković.

In a statement sent to the media, Vulin announced that at the security conference he would use the opportunity to inform the leaders and officials of more than 120 countries with “the truth about the resolution on Srebrenica that will be presented in the United Nations General Assembly.”

Otherwise, the International Security Conference in Russia is aimed at finding ways to solve current tasks in the sphere of global security, and high-ranking officials participating in the conference will also discuss topics related to ensuring national and regional security.
