It’s necessary:

– red cabbage 1 head

– white eggs

– water for cooking

How to prepare:

Chop the cabbage and place it in a large pot. Add enough water to cover the cabbage. Cook for 30 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Strain the liquid into a bowl and soak the hard-boiled eggs until the desired shade is achieved. For dark blue color, soak overnight. Remove the eggs from the bowl and gently wipe away the liquid. Brush with vegetable oil and let sit for a few minutes before gently wiping off excess oil.

Egg decoupage

This is the simplest technique that has been one of the favorites for years!

It’s necessary:

– eggs 20

– egg whites

– an ordinary brush

– paper napkins of various motifs

How to prepare:

Boil the eggs and cool them. Paper napkins have 3 layers, peel off the top layer with the motif (throw away the other layers). Cut out the motifs you want with scissors or tear carefully with your fingers. Beat the egg whites with a fork until foamy. Take the egg, brush the part on the egg with egg white, put the cut motif on the napkin and go over it again with a brush dipped in egg white, first go from the middle of the motif to the end. Do the same with all the eggs and let them dry.

Marble eggs

For this technique of decorating eggs, you need a bulb, paper cut into triangles, water, 50 ml of vinegar, green color (for eggs or cakes), cheesecloth and rubber bands.

Chop the onion and the paper pieces, then dip the eggs in water so that the onion and the finely chopped paper pieces stick to the eggs. Wrap the eggs in gauze, tie with a rubber band. Add cold water, vinegar and diluted dye in a little water. Heat the water slowly and cook them on low heat for an hour.

Soak them immediately in cold water to make it easier to remove the bulb. Coat the egg with oil.
