“UKRAINIANS ARE DYING FOR THEIR INTERESTS” The Senate approved aid to Kyiv; Biden called Putin a tyrant

The US Senate has adopted a draft law on aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. The draft law was supported by 79 members of the Senate, while 18 were against it.

Previously, the House of Representatives also supported the document, which is now being sent to US President Joseph Biden for signature.

In this regard, the American president said that he will sign the law as soon as he receives the document and that he will address the Americans regarding the allocation of over 60 billion dollars in aid to Ukraine.

He added that he expects arms deliveries to Ukraine to start again within the week.

The situation demands that Washington take certain steps without delay, Biden said. Help is needed, he added, not only for Ukraine, but also for Israel, as well as for refugees and all those affected by the conflicts in Gaza, Sudan and Haiti.

“This law will make our country and the world safer because we support friends who are defending themselves against terrorists like Hamas and tyrants like Russian President Vladimir Putin,” Biden said.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said yesterday that the largest part of the 61 billion dollars, which the US allocates for Kiev, will go to finance the American military-industrial complex.

“Washington intends to allocate almost 61 billion dollars to the Kiev regime to prevent the collapse of the Ukrainian army.” The largest part of these funds will go to finance the military industrial complex of the USA itself. “The American authorities cynically declare that Ukrainians will die for their interests in the fight against Russia,” he said.

Why it’s Tucker Carlson’s fault

The leader of the Republicans in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, believes that journalist Tucker Carlson is to blame for delaying the adoption of this law, because he started demonizing Ukraine after the interview with Putin.

“He had a large audience and convinced many Republicans not to approve aid to Ukraine.” It may have been a mistake. I think former President Donald Trump had an unequivocal view of that,” the senator said, adding that Trump probably didn’t want them to do anything.

Let us remind you that an American journalist recently criticized members of the American Congress, pointing out that they do not even know how many Ukrainian soldiers died in the conflict. It’s a real shame for Karlsson.
