The group of NATO forces near the borders of Russia currently numbers up to 33 thousand soldiers, about 300 tanks and more than 800 other armored vehicles, and a headquarters will be deployed in Germany to help Ukraine, said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
Shoigu also said that Russian forces have the initiative along the entire separation line and are pushing the enemy from the lines they occupy.
He stated at the collegium of the Ministry of Defense that through active combat operations, Russian forces took control of the settlements of Pervomayjsko, Bogdanovka and Novomihailovka in the DNR, and the zone of control in Berdychi and Georgijevka is expanding.
