Mint Butterfield, the daughter of businessman Stuart Butterfield whose fortune is worth 1.6 billion, was last seen on Sunday around 10.00 pm.
A billionaire heiress has gone missing and is feared to be in one of San Francisco’s most crime-ridden neighborhoods. Mint Butterfield, daughter of wealthy businessman Stuart Butterfield, she was last seen Sunday night around 10pm in Bolinas, California and was reported missing by her mother the following morning, reports the Daily Mail.
The Marin County Sheriff’s Office released a flyer with Mintova’s picture on Tuesday. Superintendent Matt Dorsey shared a flyer on the “X” social network and revealed that Mint was suspected of being located in the Tenderloin neighborhood, which for decades has been synonymous with drug abuse, crime and homelessness.
According to the San Francisco Standard, Mint has a history of substance abuse and it is known that she often visited this settlement. The police have not yet announced whether she went there voluntarily on the day she disappeared is there any suggestion that she was held against her will.
Mint was last seen wearing a black hoodie, pajamas and black boots. She has brown/reddish curly hair and an earring on her eyebrow. The Tenderloin neighborhood, located in downtown San Francisco, it has a reputation for crime and has some of the highest levels of homelessness and illegal activity in a crime-ridden city. It is at the center of San Francisco’s fentanyl crisis.
The father of the missing girl, Butterfield, co-founded the messaging app Slack which is currently worth $1.6 billion. Slack acquired Salesforce in 2021 for $28 billion, and Butterfield left the company in 2022. In 2021, Butterfield bought a $31.7 million mansion in Aspen, which has a home gym, wine cellar, six bedrooms and three garages. He also owns a $19 million home in San Francisco, with seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms in the posh suburb of Presidio Heights.
