Speaking about the peace conditions of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Lukashenko noted that “there is no need to propose such radical solutions that seem patriotic, but are not realistic”, and that Russia will not leave Crimea and other new territories.

Lukashenko warned that the recent US aid package of 60 billion dollars for Ukraine is “a big factor for the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine”, especially because of the financing of ATACMS missile systems with a long range.

– Circumstances are ripe for negotiations on a peace agreement – Lukashenko added.

Russia deployed several dozen nuclear weapons in Belarus

Russia has deployed several dozen nuclear weapons in Belarus, Lukashenko said.

According to Lukashenko, Russia made the decision to station “a certain number of tactical weapons” in Belarus at his persistent request, TASS reported.

– Several dozen of the latest nuclear weapons – he specified.

Russia sent tactical nuclear weapons to be stationed in Belarus last year, although there are no details on how many.

Moscow has said it will retain control of the weapon, which is designed for battlefield use and has a short range and relatively low power.

“Ukraine has concentrated 120,000 soldiers near the border with Belarus”

Lukashenko said that Ukraine has concentrated a group of 120,000 soldiers near the Belarusian border and assessed that the probability of provocations by the Ukrainian army is quite high.

– There is a very tense situation on our southern borders, there are about 120,000 people in the immediate vicinity of the Belarusian border – said Lukashenko at the parliament session.

According to him, the Ukrainians completely mined the border with Belarus. 24-hour reconnaissance of all kinds directed against Belarus was recorded, reports RIA.

– We see systematic provocative and demonstrative actions by members of the Ukrainian army against the officers of the Belarusian law enforcement agencies located in the border areas, including violation of the state border of Belarus – said Lukashenko.
