He brought war, chaos, unrest and destroyed economies to the world – said Orban at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Budapest.

Orbán assessed that the progressive liberals feel threatened, but at the same time they are still in power, and that they are “dangerous opponents, determined to do everything, they do not shy away from anything and have no moral concerns”.

The Hungarian Prime Minister pointed out that in the elections for the European Parliament there is a chance that sovereign-oriented politicians will be replaced by “those leaders who are not really leaders”, but are engaged in the construction of “hegemonic-ideological control to which everyone must obey, turning state bodies into instruments of oppression of the people of Europe “.

As examples of pressure from the “liberal mainstream”, Orbán cited attempts to cancel a conservative conference in Brussels last week, the trial of former US President Donald Trump, the persecution of right-wing political parties by German intelligence services, attempts to ban the activities of journalist Tucker Karlsson in Europe and the persecution of Finnish politician and priest for quoting the Gospel.
