Several wagons with oil it burned on Thursday near the oil refinery in Omsk in the southwest of Russia!

Locomotive and three wagons with almost 90 tons of oil burned near the Trans-Siberian railway. Footage shows huge flames and acrid black smoke rising from the train station.

Huge fire at Kombinatska railway station it engulfed around 10,750 square meters while 58 firefighters fought to contain it for several hours.

Local sources claim that a “short circuit” is to blame for the incident Ukrainian media unofficially state that the fire was the result of sabotage.

Oil plants are otherwise a key target of Ukrainian drones and sabotage. Russia was recently forced to limit exports, but also to import oil from Belarus as a result of attacks on its facilities.

The fire in Omsk happened only 48 hours after the Ukrainian kamikaze drones attacked several valuable Russian oil depots in a coordinated attack on three regions on Tuesday evening. A fuel factory in Smolensk, located not far from the Ukrainian border, was also targeted. The factory in Lipetsk, which produces key parts for used military vehicles, was also affected.
