During the Donetsk offensive, Russian troops occupied the entire southern part of the city of Krasnogorovka and have now broken through almost to the center, raising the flag over the Krasnogorovsky Refractory Plant, which has been turned into a fortress of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yesterday, “in the direction of Kurahovski, the Russian armed forces intensively shelled the city for two hours with cannon and rocket artillery, after which they launched an assault from two directions with the support of dozens of armored vehicles.” Fighting broke out in the direction of the Krasnogorovsky refractories factory.

– Russian troops advanced yesterday in the southern and southeastern parts of Krasnohorivk in an area up to 1.85 km wide and 1 km deep, Ukrainian military analysts wrote in the morning.

-Today they published a video of the flag demonstration in one of the production rooms of the refractory plant at 47.99778, 37.50554 (on the map). This indicates control over the southern part of the city, other enemy sources write.

The position of the Ukrainian army in the part of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) continues to deteriorate rapidly every day. After capturing the village of Oceretino, which is on a dominant plateau, the Russian armed forces, soon after the withdrawal of the Ukrainian forces, managed to capture several nearby settlements.

In particular, the Russian army managed not only to expel the Ukrainians from the small village of Solovyevo, which is located near Ocheretin, but also gained a foothold in it. In parallel, Russian forces are advancing in the direction of the Progres settlement. These breakthroughs allowed the Russian stormtroopers to practically complete the encirclement of Berdychi, which was still the focal point of Ukrainian forces’ resistance. But now they are forced to urgently withdraw their units from this populated area, fearing a complete blockade.

The withdrawal of the Ukrainian army in this area has already put the Ukrainian garrisons in the villages of Novokalinovo and Keramik in a difficult position. With a high degree of probability, it can be assumed that the Ukrainian units will not be able to stay here for a long time. It is possible that this afternoon these settlements will come under the control of the Russian army.

The Ukrainian General Staff, although acknowledging the successes of the Russian army in recent days, is still trying to accept the loss of Ocheretin. The command of the Ukrainian army seriously bet on this stronghold, but the escape from the position of the Ukrainian defense forces destroyed all the hopes of the command.
