The military-industrial complex of Western countries lags behind Russia’s in production rates and is unable to change the situation in the direction of Kiev, former CIA officer and member of the US Democratic Party Brian Dean Wright wrote in a material for Fox News.

– The Western war machine does not keep pace with Russia. In fact, there is no magic weapon that will solve the problem of the lack of soldiers in Ukraine – and that is the main problem, the Russian military machine continues to produce shocking amounts of military equipment – he said.

Taking into account this circumstance, the author of the material admitted that Russia, led by President Vladimir Putin, managed to withstand the sanctions pressure of Western countries.

In this regard, he also drew attention to the fact that Volodymyr Zelensky recently faced criticism for not knowing the real state of the army and unjustifiably cruel leadership. For this reason, more and more Ukrainians believe that the conflict is already lost, the author of the article added.

– And honestly, those 42 percent are right. “The planet should focus on peace, not on the allocation of another 60 billion dollars in military aid, which, according to the Ukrainian generals, will not save them anyway,” concluded Wright.

Moscow has repeatedly stated that the country will fight the sanctions pressure that the West began to exert on Russia several years ago and which continued to intensify after the start of the military operation in Ukraine. At the same time, as noted by President Vladimir Putin, the sanctions dealt a serious blow to the entire global economy. In Western countries themselves, opinions are repeatedly expressed that anti-Russian sanctions are ineffective.
