Russian army announced that a train transporting Western weapons to Kiev was hit in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk.
It was announced after a series of attacks on railways in Ukraine.
“A train with Western weapons and military equipment was hit near the town of Udachne,” the Russian Ministry of Defense announced without further detailing the consequences of the strike.
A senior Ukrainian security official told AFP today, following a series of attacks on Ukrainian railways, that Russia is bombing the Russian railway network to “paralyze” the military’s supply of Western aid, preparing for a new offensive.
“These are classic pre-offensive measures,” said the official, who did not want to be named. The goal is to “paralyze deliveries, the transport of military cargo,” he said.
