The fire in Perast is still active.
The deputy commander of the Protection and Rescue Service, Eduard Kovačić, said that the situation is under control, but that they cannot localize the fire because it is burning on inaccessible terrain.
As reported by Television Vijesti, the Kotor Protection Service sent an invitation to the Directorate for Protection and Rescue to include airplanes in extinguishing the fire on the hill above the city.
The situation is further aggravated by the northerly wind.
In addition to members of the Kotor Service and Protection, there are also firefighters DVD “Bogoljub Brezić” from Perast.
The fire above Perast broke out two nights ago, and it is assumed that the fire was caused by lightning strikes.
Airmen of the Army of Montenegro spent nine hours extinguishing the fire in Boka Kotorska yesterday, with the help of two helicopters.
