“Sad day”: Ellen DeGeneres spoke out after the death of former partner Ann Hayes – News – Life

Ann Hayes had a car accident last Friday, when she crashed into the garage of a house in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. After that, she was immediately taken to the hospital, but the family decided to disconnect her from the machine yesterday.

When the car accident happened, host Ellen DeGeneres was among the first to speak up and revealed that she is not in contact with her ex-partner, but of course wishes her the best.

Ellen and Ann were in a relationship in the late 1990s and broke up in 2000.

Ellen took to Twitter yesterday after the news of Ann Hayes’ death and did not hide her sadness.

“This is a sad day. I send all my love to Annie’s children, family and friends,” she wrote on Twitter.
