On that occasion, Dacic met in Dar es Salaam with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania, Djenauri Yusuf Makamba.
The meeting was attended by members of the Serbian delegation, Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirović and MP Vladimir Orlić.
During the meeting, Dacic pointed to Serbia’s determination to build the best possible relations with Tanzania, based on the foundations of friendship and cooperation, which began in the years of Tanzania’s independence.
In a cordial conversation, the head of Serbian diplomacy emphasized the interest in renewing old friendships and very good relations with African peoples and countries, and he identified education, economy, trade, tourism and agriculture as potential areas of cooperation, among others.
Dacic conveyed the invitation of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, to the President of Tanzania to visit Serbia, and he also invited his colleague, Minister Makamba, to visit, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
