The Zajedno party does not participate in the local elections on June 2 – Elections 2024

This party announced that they refuse to be complicit in an organized criminal enterprise that robs citizens of their sovereign right to freely decide who will carry out public affairs.

The schedule scheduled for June 2nd is not an election, neither in Belgrade nor in other cities and municipalities in Serbia, it was stated in the announcement.

“Serbia is entering a farce in which the criminalized regime is trying to gain legitimacy for itself, since it was caught in a theft of epic proportions on December 17 last year,” the Zajedno party said in a statement.

They added that now is the moment to gather and organize all citizens who refuse to agree “to the lie that there is any possibility of free decision-making in any elections”.

“After June 2nd comes the next day, which can be the real beginning of the end of the internal occupation.” That will happen if we use the weeks ahead of us to organize ourselves well, to come before the citizens of our country with a clear plan for victory,” the statement from this party reads.

They indicated that they firmly stand by the agreed decision of the “Serbia against violence” coalition, the NADA and Proglasa coalition, signed on March 9, that it is necessary to fulfill the minimum conditions in order to participate in the elections and the last initiative of these entities, that in accordance with the proposed Constitutional by law, all local elections should be held in the fall, so that ODIHR’s recommendations could be adopted and implemented.

“Together, it demands that the Assembly adopt the Constitutional Law, in the text proposed by the unanimous decision of the Proclamation and each of the parties that make up the SPN and NADA coalitions.” We are convinced that only courage and consistency can overcome this evil fate that marks our lives”, they concluded in the announcement.
