Popular make-up artist and influencer Maja Mia Janeska, originally from Ohrid, was reportedly found dead in Africa, local and domestic media reported.
There is no more official information and details, except for the announcement of her boyfriend in the local media, Macedonian “Večer” reports.
The news of Janeska’s death was announced by her boyfriend Omi Dimpoz, with whom she had been dating since 2020, reports MSN.com.
Dimpoz took to his social media accounts where he posted several photos taken together with Maya and wrote: “Rest in peace my love.”
Maya also dated Tanzanian comedian Idris Sultan, who also broke the news of the death on his social media accounts.
Her loved ones are also saying goodbye to her, through social networks, where a series of information and assumptions about what happened to Janeska is stated.
So far, no cause of death has been given, although there are various speculations.
Maja was born in Macedonia, but lived in Tanzania for more than a decade. Reports say she was living in South Africa before her death.
However, what exactly happened is still a mystery.
Maja Mia was recently in the center of public attention in North Macedonia after photos with her were published by current politicians, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani and the former Minister of Health Venko Filipce.
In the posts she also shared, she stated that she was looking forward to deepening the cooperation between her two homelands, North Macedonia and South Africa, according to “Večer”.
