A NEW round of dialogue at the highest political level is being held today in Ohrid, where the main topic is the European plan for the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina. The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, the Prime Minister, so-called Kosovo’s Aljbin Kurti, head of European diplomacy Josep Borelj and EU envoy for dialogue Miroslav Lajčak.
President Vučić said that it is not a fateful day, and that he does not plan to sign anything. He added that he does not deviate from his previously stated position – that there will be no recognition of the so-called of Kosovo, as well as that Serbia will not allow Pristina’s membership in the UN.

ESCOBAR: The focus is not on signing
The US special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, said today in Ohrid that he expects the finalization of the annex for the implementation of the Agreement on the Normalization of Relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
– We are not focused on signing, but on finalizing the agreement – said Escobar in an interview with Radio Free Europe, as reported by Tanjug.

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borelj, said that the eyes of the EU and the Western Balkans are focused on Ohrid today.
– After intensive shuttle diplomacy between Belgrade and Pristina, we will discuss with the President of Serbia and Aljbin Kurti the implementation of the annex – an integral part of the Agreement on the way to normalizing relations – Borelj wrote on Twitter.
Vučić arrived in Ohrid
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić arrived in Ohrid, where a high-level meeting will be held today as part of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
Around 9:20, President Vučić should arrive at Villa Ohrid, where the meeting will be held.
Previously, Vučić will meet with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia Dimitar Kovačevski.
A meeting between Kovačevski and the president of the temporary institutions of Pristina, Aljbin Kurti, is currently underway in Ohrid.
